WASHINGTON, Feb. 26, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On the eve of the 2019 American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Conference, Cutera, Inc. (Nasdaq:CUTR), (“Cutera” or the “Company”), announces the launch of its best-in-class excel V+ laser platform.  The excel V+ is a technological advancement that includes 50% more power and treatment speed, optimized delivery systems and parameters for unparalleled precision in treating vascular lesions and pigmentation concerns.

The excel V+ represents a significant leap forward in the Company’s current excel V laser platform, widely recognized among dermatologists for its engineering excellence as a best-in-class platform for the treatment of dermatologic issues such as rosacea, poikiloderma, leg veins, skin pigmentation and acne scars. The advancements of the excel V+ include:

  • Fully-integrated 532/+ 1064 nm wavelengths, with the addition of ‘Green Genesis’ a micro-pulsed 532 nm procedure
